About
Olivia “ORB” Beelby (b. 1997, Flint, MI) is a Southeast Michigan artist currently based in Highland Park, MI. They received their BFA in illustration from College for Creative Studies in 2019.
Since then their practice has been informed by a variety of experiences, including working as a graphic designer, an early childhood educator, and as a figure drawing instructor at their alma mater. Observational drawing and creative pedagogy form the bedrock of their practice, which manifests in textural illustrations that involve a range of drawing and painting media on largely reclaimed surfaces.
ORB is available for freelance work, live events, and personal commissions.
